FMS Delhi admission last year changes

Following changes are announced by FMS Delhi in its MBA admission criteria and final selection process for 2023-25 batch:

• New Component ‘Discussion on Statement of Purpose’ is introduced in the final selection
• Personal Interview (PI) round and Group Discussion will be conducted
• Maximum weightage awarded to Personal Interview (PI) Round
• MBA seats increased to 287 including supernumerary seats
• MBA (Full Time) programme fee is Rs 10,480 per year
• FMS Delhi will shortlist the candidates by awarding varying weightage of 30% to 40% to the three sections of CAT 2022 Score
• 5 additional marks are added to the composite score in case of women candidates for the purpose of shortlisting

FMS Delhi Admission Eligibility Requirement

Details pertaining to minimum qualification marks required, age limit and related are mentioned under the eligibility criteria of FMS Delhi. Given below eligibility criteria of FMS Delhi will be updated in case of any changes for admissions in 2023-

• Minimum Qualifying Marks – Candidates applying for admission in MBA program must have secured atleast 50 percent marks in graduation. Reserved category candidates must have 45 percent.

• Qualifying Exam – All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any renowned institution

Note- Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

FMS Delhi Admission Criteria 2023-2025

CAT 2022 exam scores will be considered for shortlisting candidates as per the FMS Delhi admission criteria 2023-2025. The final selection of candidates is done on the basis of group discussion and personal interview conducted offline. However, last year due to COVID 19, group discussion, extempore and personal interview were cancelled and the selection was done on the basis of CAT scores and academic performance of candidates.

FMS Delhi Admission 2023- Shortlisting of candidates for Interview process

To encourage Gender and Academic diversity, different weightage shall be assigned to the scores of different sections of CAT 2022 for the purpose of short-listing candidates for the interview process as well as the final selection. A weightage score shall be computed giving weightage of 40%, 30% and 30% to the score of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). An additional 5 marks shall be added to the weighted score in the case of women candidates for the purpose of shortlisting for the interview process. The FMS Delhi interview process may be held in online mode.

Admission Criteria of FMS Delhi 2023-2025

Step 1 – Candidates must have appeared in CAT 2022 exam. IIM Bangalore conducted CAT 2022 on November 27. All candidates who appeared in CAT 2022 are required to score minimum sectional and overall percentile. On the basis of this, FMS Delhi will shortlist candidates for further admission rounds.

Step 2 – Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for GD-PI as per FMS Delhi admission criteria 2023-2025.

Step 3 – Successful candidates will be notified through shortlists. The category-wise shortlist of candidates will be published on the official website of FMS Delhi.

Documents Required at the time of Counselling

Shortlisted candidates for GD-PI will be required to fill up the performa available on the official website of FMS Delhi. Along with the filled performa candidates are required to bring along certain documents. Such documents should be verified against original certificates or marksheets before extempore, GD-PI. The documents are –

• DOB certificate

• Marksheet of HSC and SSC

• CAT 2022 scorecard

• Reservation claim certificate if any

Declaration of Merit List – Instructions to be Followed

FMS Delhi will release the category wise merit list and admission will be offered to candidates subject to the conditions as under –

• The admission process is to be completed online by all candidates. Selected candidates will be intimated about the admission process via email. If they have any queries they can write mail to adminoffice@fms.edu

• Candidates belonging to reserved category who are seeking admission in FMS Delhi will be required to produce the original certificates

• The FMS Delhi admission would be provisional and subject to verification of original certificates. All candidates should satisfy the minimum eligibility conditions as prescribed for FMS Delhi admission

• Candidates making false claims / falsified records will not be allowed admission and appropriate action would be taken as per the rules of University of Delhi

• At the time of admission candidates have to deposit the required fee of Rs.48,000

FMS Delhi Registration Process 2023-2025

The window of application form of FMS Delhi for 2023-2025 admissions is open till January 20 in online mode. Candidates can register themselves for admission to the MBA programme (2023-25) through the official website of FMS by filling the online registration form and by paying the application fee.

• Now fill the registration form by providing the following details

  • Candidates name

  • Permanent Email address

  • Enter valid mobile number

  • Set password of your choice

• Now click on “Register” button

• Candidates will receive a link in their provided Email ID

• Click on the received link and provide all the following details

  • CAT 2022 registration number/ User ID

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Alternate Email ID

  • Landline number with STD code

  • Marital status

  • Category

  • Parents details

• After that, click on “NEXT” tab

• Now provide address details, educational qualification, experience details and other details

FMS Delhi Admission 2023- Online payment through internet payment gateway

• While paying the registration fee for FMS Delhi application form, candidates will be redirected to the Internet Payment Gateway of the Bank as mentioned in FMS website. Confirm payment through credit/ debit card or through payment channels.
• After successful online payment, candidates will be directed back to the FMS website.

FMS Delhi MBA Program Fees

The fee for various programme is payable at the beginning of the academic year. The semester fee is currently approx. Rs 48,000 for MBA programme , per each semester. Candidates from PwD category shall be exempted from payment of all fees except admission and identity card fee. The fees for the various programmes and reservation categories can be revised at any time before the commencement of or during the duration of programme as per the instructions from the University of Delhi.
