EMAT 2023: Exam Date, Application Form, Syllabus, Pattern, Admission
EMAT 2023- Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode will conduct Executive Management Aptitude Test 2023 (EMAT) for admission into Executive Post-Graduate Programs in Management. The application form for EMAT 2023 phase 3 is available in online mode from December 1. The last date to register for EMAT 2023 is January 31.
EMAT 2023
As per the EMAT 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates should have a valid scorecard of EMAT/CAT/GMAT to appear for EMAT selection rounds. EMAT 2023 and personal interviews will be conducted on February 04-05. Soon after EMAT 2023 and personal interview, the result for EMAT 2023 will be declared in online mode. EMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
Before applying for the admission process of EMAT 2023, candidates must adhere to the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Aspirants must have three years of entrepreneurial/managerial/professional experience after the completion of graduation as on November, 2023.
Candidates must have the following marks in aggregate as per the category:

Note – Work experience before the completion of graduation will not be considered.
Also, candidates having experience in the form of internship/articleship for the courses such as CA/ICWA/CS will not be considered as experience.

The application form of EMAT 2023 is available in online mode from December 01, 2022. Candidates must follow the guidelines below to fill the EMAT registration form 2023.

How to Fill the Application Form of EMAT 2023?
Refer to the steps below to fill out the registration form of EMAT 2023 successfully.

Step 2 – Check email inbox to fetch the application number
Step 3 – Pay application fees
Step 4 – Fill the application form
Step 5 – Take the print of the form
Step 1 – Visit the official website
The link for the application form will be activated as soon as the authorities release it. Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the tab ‘Click here to register and apply online’ or register through the ‘New registration’ link.
Step 2 – Check email inbox to fetch the application number
After entering the details for registration, an email will be sent mentioning the following details:
Application Number
Email ID
Mobile number
Password
Note all the above details for future logins.
Step 3 – Pay the application fees
After logging candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 2,000. Students can pay the registration fee by any of the following method:
Debit card
Credit card
Internet Banking
Note – Net charges may be applicable.
Step 4 – Fill the application form
After paying the application fees candidates will have to fill the application form and enter the details as prescribed. Students must note that the registration form will expire after 7 days of registration if not filled.
Step 5 – Take the printout of the registration form
Aspirants must take the print of the duly filled application form and have to be compulsorily carried on the day which EMAT and personal interview will be conducted. Also candidates are advised to carry their original documents of academics, experience and registration form.
EMAT Exam Centres 2023
EMAT 2023 will be held in Kochi only if the number of candidates is less than 10. However if there are more than 10 candidates then additional centres would be in Trivandrum and Kozhikode.
EMAT Sample Paper 2023
Sample paper of EMAT 2023 helps candidates to become familiar with the type of questions that might be asked in EMAT 2023. Also, with the help of the EMAT sample paper 2023 candidates can assess their preparation level and work on their weak and strong points.
EMAT Admission Process 2023
Candidate’s EMAT 2023/CAT 2022 or GMAT scores will be used for the preliminary screening process to shortlist candidates. To get shortlisted for the selection rounds candidates are required to meet the minimum cutoff criteria of EMAT as per the following table as mentioned below or the cutoff is expected to be minimum 75% for CAT and a minimum score of 650 in GMAT.

Further the selection will be based upon the aspirant’s interview marks of candidates satisfying the above-mentioned eligibility criteria of CAT/GMAT/EMAT. The interview cutoff is expected to be as follows:

Documents to be Submitted on EMAT/Interview 2023
Only candidates who will have successfully submitted the application form along with the payment of registration fee will have to bring the following documents on the day of EMAT/Interview 2023
Attested copy of the application form by the candidate. One passport-size photograph must be attached along with the application form.
Scorecard of Original CAT/GMAT; if the candidate is seeking admission through CAT/GMAT score.
Online application fee receipt copy.
Following original academic records and one set of self-attested copies.
i. 10th /SSLC/AISSE Mark Sheet and Certificate.
ii. Pre-Degree/AISSCE/HSC/Plus-Two/VHSE certificate and marksheet
iii. All certificate and marksheet of Graduation or Professional Qualification, as applicable.
iv. Post-Graduation or other higher qualification mark sheet of all years & certificate. (not compulsory)
Original experience certificates for all the employment details submitted in the application form and a copy of self-attested documents. Also, working executives will have to submit the copy of the company registration /partnership deed as proof.
Valid certificate of proof of ST/SC/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/PwD issued by the concerned authority .
Original photo identity proof such as Driving License/Passport/PAN Card/AADHAR and oneself attested copy.
Copy of Gazette Notification in case there is a change in name.
Preparation of Final Merit List
Final merit list for admission to EMAT program will be based on applicants fulfilling the above two mentioned criterias viz., EMAT cutoff and Interview cutoff. Students must note that scoring minimum marks does not entail final admission.
EMAT Programme Fees
The total fee for the program is expected to be Rs, 10,00,000 which will be payable in 4 installments as per the schedule mentioned:

Candidates accepting the offer will have to pay the acceptance fees of Rs. 50,000 along with the first installment.
Students will have to pay the caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 along with the first installment, which is refundable.
Students will have to pay Rs. 2000 for student welfare fund along with the first installment.
Candidates will have to pay Rs. 10,000 along with the fourth installment.
