Candidates with a bachelor’s degree with 60% of marks (for SC/ST/PwD 55%) or CGPA of 6.5 (for SC/ST/PwD 6.0) on the scale of 10 point and have a valid CAT/ MAT score are eligible to apply for NIT Warangal MBA Admission 2023. Students aspiring admission to School of Management at NIT Warangal must fulfill the eligibility as mentioned below:

• The candidate must have a first-class Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognized institute/university.

• Student must have the aggregate score of four semesters as mentioned in the table below:

• Aspirants must have obtained a valid score in any of the following entrance examination:

  • CAT

  • MAT

• Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply. Such students will be offered admission on a provisional basis and will have to submit the necessary documents. Failing to submit the documents the candidature of such students will stand cancelled.

• The reservation policy for EWS/OBC/SC/ST will be as per the norms of the Government of India.

NIT Warangal MBA Admission Criteria 2023

SOM-NIT Warangal will shortlist the applicants on the basis of their score in CAT/ MAT and the eligibility criteria prescribed. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the selection rounds which are:

• Group discussion (Either virtual or in-person depending upon the situation due to COVID)

• Personal interview

Important Note for Selection:

• In case two or more candidates have the same marks in CAT/MAT then the aggregate percentage in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration. However, in a case aggregate marks are also the same then the elder person will be given preference.

• Students taking admission to SOM-NIT Warangal will have to stay in the institute hostels only.

• Candidates who will be given provisional admission will be examined by the Medical Officer and those who will fail to be physically fit he/she will not be admitted.

• A fee paid to the institute will not be refunded under any circumstances. However, if the student cancels his/her admission before the beginning of the course, then Rs. 5000 will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.

• A list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the website itself, no student will get call letters.

NIT Warangal MBA Admission Criteria 2023 – GD & PI

Candidates who are all eligible to appear for NIT Warangal MBA admission 2023 will have to submit the original certificates for verification online.

• Class 10 Certificate for proof of date of birth (DOB).
• Class 12/ Intermediate/ 10+2 certificate.
• Consolidated Marks/ Four years Marks sheets or Grade Sheet of B.Tech. Degree (In case, the candidate is appearing for the final examinations, the candidate should produce the Marks Memoranda / Grade Sheets of all the examinations up to pre-final year/semester).
• Caste Certificate SC/ ST (if applicable).
• EWS Certificate in the prescribed format given on the institute website, (if applicable).
• OBC certificate in the prescribed format given on the institute website, (if applicable).
• Physically Handicapped Certificate (PwD), if applicable.
• Degree/ Provisional Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination. In case, the final result is awaited, a provisional pass certificate should be submitted at the time of counseling or before the date given by the Institute, failing which the admission shall be canceled.
